Stuart Argyle

Stuart joined HSP Consulting in 2014 and is an Associate Director within our Civil Engineering team.

During his time with HSP, Stuart has worked on a number of schemes across the UK of various sizes, covering highway design, drainage design, levels design, cut and fill calculations and external pavement design, with a view to providing the most cost effective solution for development proposals. These responsibilities frequently involve liaison with statutory bodies required for the approval of the civil engineering aspect of the schemes, including the Environment Agency, sewerage undertakers and local highway authorities, amongst others.

Previous to HSP, Stuart worked at Miller Homes. Whilst at Miller Homes, Stuart was responsible for project managing the engineering side of residential development. He was also tasked with providing land appraisal information to aid in land bidding. His responsibilities included progression of technical approvals for Section 38, 104, 185 and 278 designs and the relevant agreements, management of utility companies, management of civil and structural engineering consultants, and progression of historic adoptions. He was also heavily involved in the construction process, including liaison with groundwork and heavy civil engineering contractors.
