HSP Consulting’s Civil, Structural and Geo Environmental Teams were commissioned by the West Midlands Fire Service to provide a bespoke new headquarters for the West Midlands Fire Service including a visitor centre comprising a canal, derelict cars and buildings for students to visit the headquarters and be taught about the rescue services that the fire brigade perform on a regular basis.

The steel framed building was constructed on mass concrete foundations and part of the front elevation consisted of a feature 12 metre high masonry wall to continue the front façade across the internal car park area.
