HSP Consulting Engineers Ltd were appointed by Nottingham City Council to provide engineering input into the development of a new purpose built Sports Centre, to be situated on land adjacent to Wigman Road in Bilborough, Nottingham.

HSP’s Geotechnical and Environmental Team undertook extensive investigations on the site to establish the most suitable and economical foundation solutions combined with a site specific earthworks specification for the cut and fill work. HSP’s traffic and transport team prepared the Transport Assessment and Travel Plan for the leisure complex, which ensured a positive highways recommendation for the determination of the planning application.
